Designated Grower?
What steps do I take to become a Licensed Designated Grower?
You need to find a patient who has their MMAR license or someone who is
applying for their MMAR license and establish a relationship with them
on a compassionate level.
You need to get all the Health Canada forms ready together with your
MMAR licensed patient or someone who is applying for their MMAR license.
Heatlh Canada requires 2 standard passport photos of you. The back of
one of your photos must be signed by your patient and both photos sent
in to Heatlh Canada.
Health Canada also requires a criminal record check by the RCMP. The
RCMP charges a fee of $50. Health Canada requirements are: that within
the ten (10) year period preceding the date of your application that
you have not been convicted as an adult of a designated drug offence
committed in Canada or a drug offence committed outside of Canada.
